The NBA has decided to start playing next season with a new basketball to replace the leather one. Spalding has introduced a composite ball with interlocking panels to increase grip. Do you think the NCAA will switch to this as well? It only took the NBA 30 years to make the switch.

I see no need for a ball with increased grip in the NBA, they do a good enough job of carrying the ball already. When is the last time you actually saw a player dribble the basketball?

College basketball has already made the switch...long before the NBA did...

the nba was the only league hanging on to the old ball.
