Bet your money on the Giants. The Pats have not played well enough the last 6-7 games to warrant that big a spread. The Giants showed they can stay with the Pats. And that was without a healthy DB or 2. They should all be back healthy for the SB.
Yep. I believe the only time the Pats have covered since Thanksgiving was against the Steelers. I believe they are 0 for their last 6 or 7. So, I guess we can make two assumptions. Either they are due to cover, or their complete demolishing of other teams played itself out with Pittsburgh game. I tend to lean towards the latter, but I would not be surprised if they roll the Giants in two weeks.
I never really disliked Eli too much. But when Tebow is a pro, his team will be my least favorite in the NFL, unless of course the Cowboys get him, then all is forgiven. lol
I had personal pleasure in seeing a photo opp with Eli dawning Chargers gear if even for just an hour. Archi has not called again since! Pats by 10.
no its not. plus they are going to get smoked. enjoy. I know I will. line is down to 12. the betting public is all over the g-men. guess how often they are right?
My take: Peyton Manning was a high-profile recruit coming out of 2A Newman High School in New Orleans, and I was pretty disappointed with him that he didn't go to LSU or Ole Miss. When Peyton was at Tennessee, I wasn't a big fan of him at all. But after he went Pro, I warmed up to him after how good of a job he has done of maintaining his public loyalty to Louisiana, esp. his hometown of New Orleans. But as for Eli, I never had a problem with him. Unlike Peyton, who went to Tennessee, Eli went to Ole Miss, the school his own father went to. I can't blame a kid for going to the school his father went to (especially when, even at the time Eli decided to go there, it was a school with a football program that wasn't that impressive). Granted, had Eli led Ole Miss to a dominant position over LSU, I might have had a grudge against him, but that didn't happen. And even had Eli led Ole Miss to a dominant position over LSU, I still wouldn't have hated him too much, after all, that's what his Dad did when he was at Ole Miss, and yet his Dad spent the reminder of his life primarily serving Louisiana.
