auburn ranked #21 is ridiculous...there are 5 two loss teams ahead of them including Arkansas!

also, whoever keeps giving miami 1st place votes needs to lay of whatever they are smoking...OU is clearly the #1 team in the nation

But screw the polls I'm only concerned with the SEC standings.

Because, in my opinion, polls are a popularity contest. It’s a travesty that 1A college football is the only NCAA sport without a playoff. As for as I’m concerned, there are no national champions, only fictitious national champs. Of course, if LSU wins one, I might have to change my mind.

Its all about when you lose. UT lost 2 games with wins before and in between. Auburn lost their first two games of the season and looked bad doing it. Its tough to turn around that kind of momentum in the polls.

Yea but Mobile Texas looked HORRIBLE in their also. Even worse than AU's early losses.

They're #17 in the AP. What gets me is that Ole Piss should have atleast cracked the top-25 which would have then given the SEC 7 ranked teams.

P.S Anyone else notice ESPN's lovefest with the Big 10 yesterday? I think Purdue had a cumulative hour of post game analysis and coverage...... I mean this is Purdue we're talking bout.
