Has anyone heard the rumor that is going around Knoxville / Sports Belle? LSU to break out special Capital One Bowl unis? We will be white team, won't we?
That is a good question I should've explained but prefer brevity. Sports Belle is a Knoxville company that manufactures athletic uniforms for many teams around the country. LSU baseball and basketball used them exclusively for years before DeLong.
UNI's Photos from Disney and other evenst show LSU wearing their home white jerseys. Why would you mess with that jersey - I think it's a classic. nch
Please oh please let's NOT be in purple pants! I LOVE our uniforms the way they are! They're classic and one of college football's best! We shouldn't change it at all!!!

Maybe break out white pants. lol As long as I have been an :lsug: fan and grad, I've never really liked the style of the purple jerseys. Just don't like the yellow/white stripes. Maybe something different. Probably will never happen.I know they resemble the stripes on the white. Just wish :lsup: would change them kind of like how Michigan has one style for home and another for away games.
Call me crazy (and I knwo you will), but am I the only LSU fan who actually liked the purple pants, and I really liked the white helments.
Zackly! LSU has classic uniforms. The things that were worn at the Independence Bowl looked like hideous nuclear mutations, and the purple pants fiasco should have gotten DiNardo fired on the spot. Would Michigan come out with white helmets? Would Notre Dame wear navy blue pants? I know this is a rumor, but in general, why should LSU do anything other than try to find someone who can manufacture jerseys with stripes that will go all the way around the shoulder?
