not trying to diss Boise, but that would SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a lose-lose situation. We win and we beat Boise....whoopty freakin' doo...we lose and....well we lose!!!

 

I thought I heard that the Sugar Bowl gets the 1st choice of an "At-Large" team???? If so, wouldn't they pick a 10-2 Notre Dame over Boise?

Notre Dame should finish 10-2 thus qualifying them for a BCS Bowl.

 

They have them in the Fiesta. If Auburn is in the BCS NCG I would assume the Sugar Bowl would pick up LSU just because of being 70 miles away from BTR

 

haha.. you beat me to it... I checked this before the weekend and we were picked to be in the Cotton Bowl.

 

I've heard this also. There's no way that Sugar with 1st pick would select Boise State.

If we and Auburn win out, does anyone think this is a real possibility? I'd love to see us play ND and treat Quinn like we did Jason White. The Sugar would be smart to pick either 2nd in SEC East or West (they won't pick the loser of the CG).

 

I would love to see us play OSU or USC but it won't happen.

 

I'd love the Sugar Bowl cause I wouldn't have to go far, could afford a ticket and just drive over.

That's the ideal team for the Sugar Bowl- one of the more passionate, dedicated fanbases in the country within one state away? They make a killing whenever we play.

 

I hope one of us gets to play USC. I think LSU or Auburn's defense would be too much for Booty.

 

I agree with them that Auburn will play Ohio State in the BCS game. I also agree that LSU will play in the Sugar Bowl. But there is NO WAY that the Sugar Bowl chooses Boise State (or ANY team) over an 11-1 Notre Dame (provided they beat USC).
If Ohio State and Auburn play in the BCS game, then the Rose Bowl gets the first pick. They'll most likely take Michigan to face USC. Then the Sugar Bowl gets the next 2 picks. Their first pick would no doubt be an 11-1 Notre Dame. I think they would take an 11-1 LSU over the loser of the SEC Championship Game.
