I always like to read what the other teams papers and players have to say after the game, gives you a little different view. Any way if anyone is interested here is some articles I found today. The first article is very good. http://www.al.com/sports/birminghamnews/kscarbinsky.ssf?/base/sports/1131876920123970.xml&coll=2 http://www.al.com/sports/huntsvilletimes/mmccarter.ssf?/base/sports/1131877431124040.xml&coll=1 http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/mobileregister/index.ssf?/base/sports/1131877510123990.xml&coll=3 http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/birminghamnews/index.ssf?/base/sports/1131876926123970.xml&coll=2 http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/huntsvilletimes/index.ssf?/base/sports/1131877380124040.xml&coll=1 http://www.al.com/sportsflash/alabama/index.ssf?/base/sports-6/1131844465319510.xml&storylist=alabama Another good one. http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/mobileregister/index.ssf?/base/sports/1131877579123990.xml&coll=3&thispage=1
"LSU players formed a celebratory pile in the end zone in front of the Alabama student section, as cups and bottles flew from the stands onto them." How very sweet of the Bama fans.....losers
Well, I read 4 or 5 of them and at least they (Players and papers) aren't whining. They seem to give credit where credit is due - to the winner, LSU. Grats again.
Here is the Alabama DC Kines talking about Russell: So, too, is Russell, Kines added. "He's got a rifle (for an arm)," he said. "He slung it in there (on the game-winning throw) and (Bowe) caught it. He's done some really good things all year. He's a heck of an athlete. He's got the whole package."
What I read the papers and coaches gave LSU credit while the players said they should have won. In a game that close you can see how they feel that way but they should also give a little credit to the team that beat them in a well played hard fought game.
