nice article - thanks. Someone on this board at one time mention that Dorsey is so good, he could be the first Tigers player to be selected - top 10? True - maybe? Also, b/t JR, Quinn and Smith - how are the experts ranking them?

I've reviewed about 20 different draft publications, and if I had to generalize, I would rank them as:

    1) Quinn
    2) Brohm
    3) Stanton
    4) JR
    5) Smith

Quinn and Brohm were in most of the top 10s. Stanton was kind of all over the place (from 1st to 2nd round). JR was only high in 1 or 2 publications and the rest usually didn't even have him in their first round. Smith was all over the place as well , mostly 2nd and 3rd rounds.

My early guess is that if JR doesn't go ahead of Brohm, then he's looking at late first round at best.

I really don't understand the fascination the media has w/ Quinn:confused: Is it as easy as having Weis as a HC and you're a top 3 QB in the country? I just can't see him lighting it up in the pro, and not just cuz I don't like ND, but maybe that's just me I guess. Can't wait for JR to show him off in the Sugar - how sweeeet that's gonna be.:hihi:
