In anticipation of Drew Brees breaking Johnny Unitas' consecutive games with TD record, the NFL will allow Payton, Vitt, and Loomis to attend the game. They can all thank Drew himself, who sent an email to Goodell requesting that they be able to come to the game. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8...aints-staffers-receive-permission-attend-game
Olive branch from Goodell? Obviously doesn't change the effects of his ridiculous suspensions, but a nice gesture that doesn't cost him anything. Glad he did it; Payton, in particular, deserves to be there Sunday night.
I'm sure you're right, but I wonder if they'll let Payton go down to the field to congratulate Drew when he gets the record?
Probably more BS put out there by Roger Goodell's office to bury the Saints even further. In bed with espn. Fuckin assclowns.
That's it these days, huh? A one line summary, LOL. I was expecting some threads, or at least multiple comments on preexisting ones. 1-4, interest is low. At least we got our first win, and DB got the record!
