Congrats on a nice win tonight over Tenn. I watched a lot of it. First time I've seen LSU play this season. They looked pretty good.
I thought that was a good game to. First half we played like a bunch of individuals and out of control. Second half we settled down and played lights out. I think that if we can cut back on the turnovers we can do something very special this season.:geauxtige
I am to. Lsu by far is one of the most talented if not the most talented team in the sec. The scedule is set up just right for us to make a run this year in the sec. By the way, i loved at the end of the game when brady pumped his fist to the team and the crowd at the end of the game.
Couple thoughts: Pearl of UT looks like the real deal. How hard is it to break a press? Apparently it is near impossible for John Brady's team. However, look out, for when we do break it ole Tyrus is going to slam it down!
LSU deserved to win.....played well...65% shooting helps....too much size for my vols...the big orange missed to many easy shots...it wasnt a bad game to watch at all....LSU is very talented and i also think Pearl is a good coach....he doesnt have near the talent of some SEC squads...
Brady's team cut the turnovers in half after the break. We broke the press enough to beat them by 14. Tennessee's D had as much to do with the TOs as our ball handling. Keep in mind that this is a very young team and our only senior was on the bench for much of the game. Lack of experience had a lot to do with the givebacks. And, to answer your question, it's very hard to break a good press.
Heck, I got a red point for my post that started this thread. I guess the guy doesn't like compliments:shock:
