What happened to the Nichols State-Rice game? I know it was delayed. Why? Weather?

Bad weather. Twice. Delayed for almost 2 hours. Nicholls St won on a blocked punt that went through the end zone for 2 points.

Yea, I read it in the paper this morning. It was the only one of the Tiger Forums Pic 'Em that I missed.

So I guess it's safe to say that Rice might not be looking at back-to-back bowl seasons, huh?

Are you asserting that a school losing to a powerhouse such as Nicholls State is not a good sign.

Hey, c'mon guys. I'm a NSU student (well not right now due to circumstances beyond my control) and I was thrilled to see them beat a 1A school on the road. Maybe that will give them confidence to overcome last season and get back in that SLC champion mode. What am I saying? I really don't care that much about the colonels, but I'll pull for them, being a student and all. :hihi:

I'm very happy for the Colonels. I know its not their first win over a D-1, but its probably the best one....didn't Rice win its conference championship last year? Anyway, hopefully they can use that win as a springboard when they get into Southland play. Congrats to Coach Thomas and the team.
