I would like to have heard this guys response when they invented those magical boxes we all have in our living rooms.
Under the previous rules that allowed for May visits to high schools by head coaches, I don't think the coaches were even allowed to talk directly with the players during the visits. Is that correct?
Shame on the ones who don't. I was telling Terry (He'd pm'd that info to me earlier) that I think those rules are more to curb aggressive recruiter's movements so the lazier coaches can take a breath- not referring to Miles, he's obviously working hard. UM and NS were the only one's who voted against it.
I just don't see how he is bypassing any rules here. It's not like he can still go and watch them do spring practices or anything as the head coaches could do in the past.
He's not by-pssing any, it's completely legal. The NCAA allows contact via video conference and it counts as one visit in the spring.
If we know, I'm sure Les knows, and I'm confident he won't let Saban outwork him. It seems like he works pretty hard at recruiting also.
