Nick Saban = Larry Brown? (old post)

    I see some real similarities here....

    Has some success with a team, yet feels the urge to keep movin'...

    Not that that tendency is necessarily a bad thing...

    It just seems that neither of these guys wants to let the proverbial grass grow between his toes....

    Will Saban be up to 7 to 8 teams by the time he's LB's age??

    And could you also add Jimmah Johnson to the mix too????

    Personally I think Brown is a different breed from both of those guys. He doesn't settle in anywhere and moves from college to pro back to college back to pro, from one job to another at the same level, etc. Johnson left OSU to go to Miami, a no brainer. He left there to head to the Cowboys, another step up and a step up to the best league. He left Dallas because he was going to kill Jerry Jones if he didn't.

    Saban also made moves to better his position and his income, though this last one could be viewed differently by many, especially in the future.

    This is stupid! Nick Saban leaves for career advances...

    Larry Brown leaves b/c he is bored or is run out of town

    It isn't nothing against the person who suggested it... or the people who agree with it...

    I just think it is really offbase comparing Nick to Larry the Leech...

    BTW... why do you jump on me when I say the word 'STUPID' but no one says anything to crawfish when he accuses me of being homosexual when I disagree with him?

    I'm the one who deleted his post, next time don't "quote his reply" because I won't go through all of the trouble to edit so many posts.

    Again, try a little sugar in your posts instead of vinegar and you wouldn't have so many people beating up on you.

    Thanks... I appreciate it...

    People's opinions of me don't matter a heck of al ot... b/c I know that the people who beat up on me, do so b/c of the whole RP thing...

    But I have nothing to prove, I called that 3 months in advance...

    But AGAIN:

    I guess I maybe thought this was a message board? and if so... im sorry...

    but i thought the idea was way off base... Nick Saban started in the dirts and moved to the palace...

    Larry starts in the sand and builds it into a sand castle, then moves on to a new litter box...

    The two scenarios are WAY WAY diff... but I guess I wasn't being sensitive enough so I "respectfully disagree"
