Nightmare Matchup in Hotlanta

    Leonard Pope....who gets the duty of trying to guard this beast?


    I suppose the usual is the SS and thats little ole jessie daniels.


    any other ideas? shaq have any eligibility left?

    Pope is huge, and he's UGA's leading receiver, but a full 25% of his reception total came in one game: 8 receptions against Auburn.

    Other games, he gets about 3 catches per. I'm sure Pelini will have something for Pope Sat. night.

    Pope is big & physical, but he's been limited by a few teams this season. I trust Pellini will see what they did & can hopefully have similar results.

    Most likely everyone will be have to gurard him some time during the night. It all depends on what formation they come out in and what play we have called. I have a feeling Laron and Jesse will be lending a helping hand on him though.

    The other danger that no one seems to talk about is the OTHER TE. Milner has a 20 YPC average. Both of these guys must be handled at the LOS. You do not want them behind your linebackers. At least Pope isn't fluid and doesn't exhibit great hands; it is just a problem dealing with the size match up. There is usually a back around him when the ball comes his way.
