In that reville article this morning it said that the construction company has removed the Welcome To Death Valley sign and is going to sell it!! All I can say is that there better be a new one, that is one of my favorite features at LSU, remember when ESPN.com's Jim Caple came to a game and wrote that the Welcome To Death Valley sign was "like walking into Hell and seeing a sign that says "Satan invites you to enjoy eternal damnation""? This must not stand!

I knew that the construction company would be able to take that sign, but I always assumed they would just make another one. I think there could be a revolt if they don't have a new "Welcome to Death Valley" sign there come next season!

Unacceptable without a replacement. Simply unacceptable. I suspect this is much ado about nothing...NO WAY can they be this foolish, huh?
I wonder if clemson will buy it for thier stadium, because the like to say that they have death valley.:hihi:
