LSU wasn't interested in moving the game for JP ... and ESPN2 wasn't interested in showing the game.

    From The Advocate...

LSU's final home game of 2004 will carry a traditional 7 p.m. start time. ESPN2 has decided not to televise the Nov. 20 LSU-Ole Miss game, LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette said Tuesday.

LSU will announce today whether the game will be shown on a pay-per-view basis through TigerVision, Bonnette said.

This will be first time that the Tigers and Rebels' annual rivalry won't be televised by a network since 1999.

I, for one, am glad they didn't move it to JP. Is there a worse idea in football than an 11:30am start time for an LSU home game?

this means you can wear PURPLE or you really want to, White to the game. In a conference televised game TRUE LSU fans wear Canary Yellow or something close to Gold.

I forgot which game it was for, but there was streaming video through yahoo for free. Wonder what the chances of that happening again. I heard the pay-per-view through the internet sucked

I'm glad its a night game but I wish it was on ESPN2. Thanks alot Ole Miss. You guys suck so bad that you can't even get picked up by ESPN2 when you're playing at the defending national champions house.

    No doubt...

Who is playing on the Deuce instead?

Boise State vs. whatever team has a quarterback that will break some record but get their @sses whipped anyway????

:cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

After plunking down $19.99 for the Vandy game and getting about 10 seconds of excitement (Green's PR for TD) I think I might try the Internet broadcast instead...

I, too, am wondering which game will be on ESPN2. Perhaps, Florida-Florida State? I think the biggest game not already slated for tv (as far as I know) that day is Wisconsin-Iowa. La Tech is playing at Boise that day.

I sure do hope that it will be on ESPN Gameplan! I can't be in the stadium, but I don't want to miss it! I will be in Death Valley Saturday for the game against Bama - the one and only game I'll make it to this season - perhaps until the Cotton Bowl?
