Sucks, honestly. Nobody--not even USC--should start the season in a hole due to offseason injuries (how much did we wish we had AB when Addai was gimpy last year, eh? ) http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2399979 First JD Booty w/ injury concerns, now this...damn, I'm hoping the Hogs extract a pound of Trojan flesh on Sept. 2. Revenge is sweet, no?
My bad...I meant I hope Arky gets revenge for that 70-14 (or whatever it was) blowout to SC last year. Also noticed the backup to Dennis is out, too. That's RBs 1, 2, 3 and 4 now gone, plus the starting QB. No worries, as I'm sure ESPN will still rank them #1 come September.:thumb:
Arkansas is going to be much, much better than they were last year. J.J. McFadden and Felix Jones will give that soft defense hell.
they can have all the top classes in the world... without skill position players, they are in deep trouble
I feel really sorry for Dennis (eventhough he plays for the condoms). This is the second consecutive year he shredded the same knee. I see he is applying for a 6th year of elgibility and this would be a terrible way to end a career if that doesn't come through (not that I think it won't because the NCAA will do anything to keep USC on top).
At RB they still have Chauncey Washington & Whtney Lewis along with the 3 freshmen, most notably S. Johnson. I think the QB position is their primary concern with Booty going down. They have a redshirt freshmen starting with who knows behind him.
Isn't is about time that we started discussing what Pete Carroll and his staff are doing that's causing their players to be injured in practice? It has to be their fault, right? Because Miles has been causing our injuries...
