Dickie V said today that he had a better chance of growing hair than Alford has of not getting the job. Dickie V has a second home by Steve's in Sarasota, so they know each other well... maybe he knows something. We will know soon. Btw, Alford's matured quite a bit while at Iowa, but most fans are ok with him leaving. He was never able to recruit in Chicago... and our cupboard next year is quite bare.
Hawker, Your team played their hearts out. It was a good game and good sportsmanship by both teams. I still say if Lewis hadn't got hot at the end with those 3's, it would've been Iowa's game.
