I know you read this forum, coach. Please do two things regarding late hits and out of bounds hits that we will surely encounter vs. UThug: 1. Tell the player to act hurt for a few seconds to help draw the flag. 2. Throw the headset forcefully to the ground and maybe even curse.
You don't find it even remotely annoying when he gets a halfway decent hit to end a 10-15 yard run and immediately gets up and starts talking trash to the guy who just moved the chains? Just curious.
cgisclair, You obviously aren't watching the same LSU games I watch (along with many others). I'm not going to go into it again about LL, but people aren't making it up. Maybe you're talking about how many times he's actually been caught. Oh well, he did play a good game last night and made some good tackles.
Football is a violent sport. I love the way LL plays the game and wish more kids would play with his passion and at his level.
I have to agree here, cig makes a good point with the stat- froze my fingers for a sec- but he had one last night that could have been flagged and I think the Fla. game there was a close one that didn't draw a flag. I love to watch the guy and his aggressiveness is what makes him so good but he needs to pull up on the sideline. I'm afraid where going to get the flag in a big game and it'll hurt us. What makes me strain is the jawing after.... when you lay the wood on somebody like he does, nothing else needs to be said- the crowd will do the talking for him.
If Fresno State would have hit somone from LSU as late as LL hit thier guy this board and all other would be out of control. He got away with one very late very unnecessary hit.
