Ok, since you are the first to basically post the first official comments on the Ole Miss game, can everyone PLEASE post on this thread. I am tired of seeing so many people post a different thread like they have something special to say. Just say it here and get it over with. Thank you. Now for my thoughts: 1) The running game is clicking, but I am not sure how much playing Ole Miss factors into that (probably a good bit unfortunately) 2) The passing game is nonexistent and will be for the next 2 games. We have major problems, and LSU has as big a question mark in this dept going into next year as we were this year (that's not too good folks) 3) The defense is perplexing. They look great and horrible all in the same game. Not sure what to make of it. Ole Miss should have been held to 150 yards and never have crossed midfield more than likely. 4) Special teams is just horrendous. Pick any part of it, and there are major problems. 5) Receivers have definitely regressed, as FightinTiger alluded to. Bowe was my pick for breakout year, and he has been really disappointing the 2nd half of the year.

I think part of the problem with the receivers is that when the ball actually comes close enough to them for them to catch it sends them into shock. How many times can you miss the tight end by 10 yards on a 5 yard route?
Well those passes were all by Randall this year (missing by 10 yards). Russell just tend to throw it str8 into the ground, by right in your direction. Randall has thrown some of the worst passes I have ever seen in my life (and easy ones too). Russell's ball is incredibly hard to catch. And I think his passing technique needs to be corrected, instead of trying to teach the receivers to catch it.
I am just tired of seeing Tirk and SabanFan and every other yahoo post a separate thread like their comments can't be inserted into the thread that was already started, but instead deserves a new thread so everyone can stop and read their post. It's just silly. It's like clockwork too. Just watch. Come back in the AM and see what I am talking about. So it wasn't meant specifically for you. And you posted before I said anything.
