Notice most of the people bashing Saban aren't regulars?

It sucks to have him leave, but with success comes things like this. I thank him for the good he's done here. Wish we had him for another five years, but sadly this is where LSU and Saban part ways.

 

Well, I'm going to wear out my keyboard tonight, but, Saban did not handle this poorly. I would like to hear one intelligent suggestion as to how this should have been handled other than telling Miami to stuff it from day one...and that was not going to happen. Please read between the lines and understand how hard a decision this was for Saban. That's why it took so long. He hated to leave LSU.

thank god we have skip to be the main voice in the next head coach position.

 

I don't think it's GOOD that saban's gone, but change is good, and i'm sure skip will handle getting a new coach very nicely. The LSU program speaks for itself very strongly, so even though we're going to lose a lot of recruiting time with this, we shouldn't be too far behind.

I won't wear out my keyboard, since this is only my 5th post since registering. I think that whoever comes in as the new HC, can build a bidge to 2 NFL organizations(Patriots / Dolphins), that would be very interested in the talent that is available from LSU's pool.

And? Does it matter? I greatly HATE saban now.. oh well, out with the old, in with the new.

Also, just a thought. Saban didn't go last year b/c they didn't offer him enough money. If you win the National, you are 'worth' more. Now that he is watching his season, he thinks 'Better take it while it's there'
