That's the implication of this snide little post:

Is there a more self-righteous bunch than Golden Domers?

Good grief! Because he or she does ten hours of community service SIXTEEN months after Katrina and doesn't see an LSU fan, they think LSU doesn't care? Did they not see that in the immediate aftermath that LSU was serving as a triage area? Did they not see that LSU housed refugees?

What a self-righteous jerk! I wish they'd tell us where and what they were doing after the storm(s). Did they volunteer to come down and help then?

Of all the ways to lash out because LSU spanked ND. If they want to lash out, then they should lash out at their overpaid, overfed coach. He obviously didn't prepare them well enough.

I'll worry about this as soon as I finish grieving for James Brown.

Those domers should be forced to recite 143 his fathers, and a solid round of self-flagellation.

Wow. The first day in 16 months that LSU fans take a break, this guy decides to realize there was a hurricane. *rolls eyes*

Maybe it's because LSU fans have been helping out constantly and doing the real hard work behind the scenes since the storm hit, and not just for one day as the TV cameras roll and the reporters take notes in some orchestrated PR campaign. Geez, the Domers are worse self-righteous pr*cks than I had thought.

man forget the domers, they're just sore losers. we're off to bigger better things now, national championships on our radar, While they're still tryin to figure out how not to embarass themselves for next season.

Not to mention that the LSU fans are the victims and were the ones devastated by the event.

He obviously doesn't have any idea how many LSU fans housed people, took personal boats to rescue people from their roofs, etc.

It was just an avenue for him to say, "Hey, I went volunteer for a few hours, ain't I a good man.....y'all tell me how nice that was".

Heck, they think they have a hurricane in Southbend when they have one of
    those Ice storms!
They got hit by a hurricane during the Sugar Bowl and didn't even know it!

    wjray .-.. ..- -.- .

I find it a little hard to believe that every single one of the 160 volunteers who worked on those two projects referred to in the original post were wearing ND gear. If that's accurate, then it's likely that this was something that was organized by some one with ND ties. If it's not (and I think it's not) then there's a good possibility that the folks not wearing ND gear were simply locals who weren't flying the colors for whatever reason. To leap to the conclusion that just because this one person claims not to have seen any  gear while performing "community" service that LSU! fans don't care about NOLA is absurd.

    Ain't that the truth!!!!!! :tigerhead:tigerhead:tigerhead
