I did post this in the military vs civilian thread but I thought it deserved its own thread.

And what exactly would make you "feel" safer rather than being safer?

Fixing the borders but that wasn't the point if you ask me.
The point was that Obama is doing everything wrong when it comes to security and preventing another attack.
Its obvious that he hasn't taken the war on terror seriously until maybe recently after the shoe bomb attempt.

    Approximately three.
The dude at Ft Hood and the shoe bomber over Detroit.
It seems to me there was one more?

    Well none of those two.
The guy over Detroit was smoking, it was his own fault or the ragheads that didn't get the device to function properly.

That isn't what has been said in this thread.
That is what you have said nothing more.
It is Obama's fault that he didn't see it or call it for what it is, a terrorist attack not a criminal action.
I think Obama's policies have been wrong as far as ignoring the war on terror up until this point.
I don't see how anyone can argue anything differently.

As far as me using War on Terror it concerns with the doing the right things to prevent terrorism in this country.
I don't believe in going to other countries and shooting them up to rid terror with the exception of Afghanistan.
We could not let the Taliban get away with supporting Al Quada with respect to the 9/11 attacks.
The war on terror as far as a war between Muslim extremists and the rest of the world especially against the USA since the late 90's is real whether you choose to believe it or not.
There is plenty of evidence to suggest just that.
