    Deservingly. :dis: We got drummed.

Hopefully this is a growing experience. Baby is used to throwing his weight around. When he meets his match he looks pretty pedestrian. Washington looked good and their crowd looked impressive. They also didn't miss many shots. Has LSU ever looked as disciplined as Washington did? I don't remember that ever being the case under Brady. We've had some ugly losses over the years to disciplined, fundamental ball teams.

Here's to a revelation for the players and coaches.

I had been up for 24 hours and was too tired to watch the game so I recorded it. I watched the whole game this morning on fast forward. Took about 10 minutes and was a lot less painful. Ouch!

Wow I didn't realize how vulnerable we were inside the paint. Man Brady has a serious void to fill with T-Time gone, and it doesn't look like Rolle is the answer right now. Hopefully Martin can help us become a better outside shooting team so Glen doens't get hammered with the double teams.

Memo to LSU coaches. Recruit some big time shooters! The offense sputters big time when defenses collapse because no one can consistently shoot well enough to keep defenses from sagging in on Big Baby. No LSU perimeter player consistently worries a D with their outside shooting.

The defense was pathetic. Similar to against Texas, players were able to get inside the pain at will. Their post D on the two bigs for Washington was horrendous. Brockman was getting the put backs at will. He was isolating his denfender in front of him and getting lobs for easy shots. LSU really misses Thomas down low blocking shots.

I'm surprised Brady didn't take his team off the court. Those refs were highly biased. It was a shady affair. Plus, we had no answer to their height and 3-point shooting. Also, we once again have an inconsistent offense that, if it even passes, it's very soft.

Hawthorne even said it was a good time for the tech. LSU was getting clobbered and he needed to make himself heard. Not that it did any good. I'd like to hear his comments after the game. I had to get to work and didn't hear what he had to say.

If this team can't close the lane on defense it is going to be a long road. This was obvious against Witchata St. I'm worried that it hasn't been addressed. I didn't see the game but was Glen still playing point? The games I have seen seem like he is always around the top of the key and very rarely goes down low on defense.
