For the first time in the history of LSU football recruiting, we are at a 50% clip for players outside of our usual LA/TX/MS tri state area.

And at a whopping 93.84 average point rating per player on 247 sports, that is also easily a record if we keep up the pace.

  2. Unfortunately we whiffed on a big one yesterday. Joel Williams committed to Florida. The good news is, while its not a particularly strong class, most of the major Louisiana prospects are still uncommitted, including Jaquelin Roy. 247 still has him all-LSU. Their 3rd top prospect, C Cedric Van Pann from Warren Easton, is also still in play, and 3 others they have as top 20 at their positions - RB Ashaad Clayton (Easton), DT Jacobian Guillory (Alexandria), and S Eric Reed (Calvary Baptist), are also 100% LSU, though uncommitted.

  3. Wouldn't call it a whiff on Joel Williams. If you look at his offer list looks like the kid was going to leave the state anyway. Also his offer list is not that impressive. We are at # 2 in recruiting currently with a lot of 4 and 5 star players still in play for us. Looks like a top 5 class or higher for us in 2020.

  4. 247 says **** safety Jordan Toles (Maryland) has committed and will also play basketball
  5. Big men are an issue... There are going to be two more in-state bigs that string LSU along until signing day only to go to Bama. CEO has to adopt the strategy that if kids don't sign by December he will move on... Better to go to prom with the average girl than to be left holding our cock because the princess played you.

  6. Williams has decommitted, and as usual, "respect my decision" to go back on his word.
  7. Same as the OL from Tx Ford, decommit from us yesterday I think.

    Same tagline as well
  8. Yep, proving over and over again the next generation has no idea what the concept of respect fully entails.

More importantly, while we still have the number 3 recruit class in the nation, we have nothing in the way of offensive line talent coming in to supplement the questionable talent that's already here.
  9. That is on O, he needs to get after it

  10. He needs to recruit Wisconsin. They always have some really good O linemen. Maybe Ohio and Pennsylvania too.
