Well, Corso picks LSU and Herbstreit can't pick because he's calling the game. But he sounds like he thinks LSU will win. I didn't see a single LSU fan on the show. No LSU cheerleaders. Not even an LSU sign unless it was so far back it was illegible. Traveling Tigers did not represent at Game Day.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I saw one LSU flag being flown way back but other than that... It is a long ways but I'm curious how many fans made the trip.
I saw one in the beginning, although he was immediately drowned by a huge group of WVU fans who wear the similar color.
at 8am on ESPNU they showed a lot of LSU fans all around that area with signs, etc. not sure what the problem was on the main channel.
Look for all the Tiger fans around the start of the 4th. quarter. Remember:"LSU plays grown man football." :tigereye:
I wasn't really getting pumped by this game very much in the first place, believing it's nothing but another non-conference game that Les will well handle like he always does. But after paying a visit to the WVU fan forum, how optimistic/arrogant they've become about this game against a top defense in the country, and all those "Let's put up 30/40 points against LSU" sort of delusional talking from their fans really got me laughing and made this one of the most eye-catching and emotional games of the year. Not that I really care about what they say, it's just hilarious and a bit surprised to know WVU fans who probably never pay close attention to SEC football yet believe in their team without any reasonableness.
