I don;t see it. We have 2 losses and are #4 in the country. If anyone gets screwed it is Florida.

    We got screwed by USC.

Although I would not trade USC losing yesterday for anything in the world. It was classic. It was lovely.

That's how deep my hatred runs for them.

Let's look on the brightside, we will be embarrassing Notre Dame now.

My hatred for USC is only rivaled by my hatred for Notre Dame. I personally look at the chance to beat up on Notre Dame as a compromise I'm willing to take for USC losing yesterday.

And who knows. The fact that Florida is doing the impossible right now and looks to make it to the MNC, might mean that LSU will pull a mini miracle and get the rose bowl bid.

As much as I'd love to play USC, ND is a great consolation prize. My only concern is how the media will view us winning in N.O.. After the :crystal: in 2003, Corso et al we saying that outside of LA, we wouldnt have performed so well.

How did Florida get screwed? They're playing for the national championship.

Let me clarify a little. Because the system in place is a farce, we went from a dream scenario of playing in Pasedena against a really good Michigan team, to plaing in the Rose vs. the much hated USC, to playing in the Sugar against Notre Dame. All without 3 of the 4 teams mentioned above evn playing yesterday.

We didn't even win our own division in our conference and we're still going to a BCS bowl, don't think we really got screwed. Would have been nice to beat USC in the Rose, but we still made out pretty well. Remember, this is the 1st year of the +1 system with really a total of 5 BCS bowls including the MNC game. In prior years there would have only been 8 BCS slots. Mich would have been in for sure, Boise St would be out, and our BCS fate would be chosen between us and ND and that would have real ****ed potential - discuss.

    Your two options were:

    Option 1:

USC beats UCLA - LSU plays Michigan in Rose Bowl - We would have had to see Pete Carroll and the USC trojans on 24/7 for the next 30 days, talking about how they are playng in their 4th straight for a national championship.

    Option2:

USC loses to UCLA - LSU plays Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl - USC blew their chance against a crappy ass UCLA team and have to live with that all off season. LSU beats the living and phucking hell out of Notre Dame (yes, both living and phucking).

Option 2 ain't really that bad when you think about it.
