Wow that pretender sure beat some incredibly tough teams..... NOT. I don't care what conference they petition, the SEC from a geographical sense makes no sense, but bring em on (and another team to make a nice even 14 team super conference).

Trust me just like the wishbone, I-bone, veer, wing T , et al were abandoned once defenses figured it out so to will this spread option gimmickry,then were will that pretender be because that is the only thing that is keeping them competitive. The big boys Play pro style offenses because that is what has the best chance to work against big boy defenses while keeping your QB in an upright position. Once the rest of the SEC gets a better handle on it FLA will have an even tougher time winning titles(does anybody in the pros run that flavor of the month offense...NOPE).

OU was put in a no win situation against a offense it doesn't have to play against in its conference, was beat up, and now they have to revamp their defense's keys for a meaningless bowl game against what many of us considers an inferior team unbeaten record an all. JUST MY OPINION MID MINORS DON'T BELONG becusethey just confuse the issue at hand. How about this scenario: Cynical coach and AD at a major U with a good team figures oh what the hell lets quit our big boy conference and join whatever mid minor conference run the table and get a nice juicy BCS game every year win it and get praised like we invented winning football. I mean if we don't have to kill ourselves why should we.

Man, I just want to know when Fox is planning on replaying it. I sure want to watch it again. Only game I regret not Tivoing.

The gimicktry you speak of by the way was pulled off by them.How many major schools do you know of that could have executed all of those "gimmick"plays?ou's coach stated before and after the game that he prepared his team and they were ready for that bowl game so how do you figure it was a no win situation?That game should have been a blow out by boise state had their defensive cordinator not put them in a very week prevent defense midway through the 3d quarter and the late pick six by zabranski was horrible,but besides those two things they executed and what else can you say?

 

Maybe you and the rest of the SEC should go ahead and secede from NCAA Div 1 -A and play amongst yourselves. At the very least leave U-lala alone every year. If you want to go play on your own- go ahead, but don't forget, that leaves you without that easy victory against middle tenn next year. Feel very lucky you got a crappy notre dame team that boise would have crushed. if there is anything that proves that the bowl system blows, its that notre dame again gets an insanely undeserved bcs bid. that is what everyone should be complaining about.
