gotta go by common opponent scores differential...you beat Bama 20-13...we win vs Bama 24-3. LSU by 14...final score LSU 34 OU 20
I thought this was going to be "serious". Let's take a few days, scout one another's teams and seasons, and come back with solid reasons as to why your team can or should win. I know very little about Oklahoma in terms of specifics---other than all of their stats are bad-ass, of course---but I will say this: if you guys can't protect Jason White better than you did against KSU, the poor guy will be carried off that Superdome Speed Turf on a stretcher.
LSU 178 OU -13 Sorry can't be serious about predictions. When you're a fan, they're just wishes tethered by the slightest wisp of reality.
Are you serious??!! You just got your asses handed to you by K-State, for Pete's sake. :geaux: :lsug:
You want harcore observations? Here you go... OU plays more finesse on offense than Ive even seen OU do so. Georgia through no fault of its own plays a finesse game also. As does LaTech. LSU smokes these propencity to not run teams. The more yards you put on the ground against LSU the more points you get. OU won't put the rock on the ground, they will get destroyed, if they do it'll be close. Stoops is too stubborn he will force the air game and get smoked for it. I do see them getting 2 TDs off of botched coverage, but that won't be near enough. If we control our ground game like we did against UGA, no way they compete. KState stole our thunder because you saw what we were going to do to them. Their finesse is exposed and it will be again... LSU-45 OU-20
Unless someone comes out super flat, it's going to be a low, low scoring game. Almost identical defenses on both sides, totally opposite offenses on both sides. LSU - 14 OU - 10 If OU comes out flat, or if LSU comes out flat, it's gonna get nasty really quick and turn into a dog fight.
