this guy is not that good a defensive coach. hes lucky he had talent to bail his ass out of most games this season. why the hell do we not blitz more like a few years ago and play so much zone.we should be blitzing way more than we do with all our talent. :angryfire
Re: BO....ROKE PELINI I thought it was the other way around..When you're not as talented you have to blitz...When you have plenty of talent you expect your D-line to get to the QB...I think that if we had to do more blitzing, then it was cause the line wasn't that good. The real reason as to why I think we didn't blitz that much this year it was because our corners have been really really bad...Can't blitz if your corners suck.

Re: BO....ROKE PELINI I dont think our corners are great but I dont think they are bad either. Hell even David Carr can pick apart a secondary when he has all the time in the world. Had we Blitzed alittle more instead of just letting the line handle the load, then maybe Doresy could finish a game.

Re: BO....ROKE PELINI That's what I said...Have you seen the big cushion that they give every play..They're always 6 or 7 yards away from the line of scrimmage and can't still cover.
Re: BO....ROKE PELINI How quickly we forget...In 2003 we blitzed a lot cause Webster and Daniels were shut down corners...Nobody was gonna beat those two...If the corners suck they need help in coverage.
