    Either way, he was a coach on that team. What, really, do you expect him to say? It'd be different if he was affiliated with them in no way.

    I really don't see anything wrong with this...If Saban was being interviewed now, and he said the same thing but for LSU...no one would have a problem with it...

    There's a big difference. Saban was very careful in what he told the media. Surely he would said something along the lines of, "It would have been nice to settle it on the field."

    And you can guarantee he NEVER would have provided some bulletin board material for one of the hottest teams in the country coming in to play an abysmal Ole Miss team.:eek:lefire:

    Yeah but it's not like he said that "USC would pummel" LSU...He just said that they would have beaten us...

    Yea, and after this year he can say that Ole Miss would have won if they had played USC.....kinda meaningless babble and a waste of oxygen.

    Isn't the man brilliant? This week of all times!!!!!! If he truely feels that USC would have won, then he is welcome to believe that. And he was involved and should have some info we don't know about. But to start that crap now? He shouldn't say things like that if OM was 8-1 and ranked sixth. Why ask to get a couple more tds hung on your dumb butt?

    No one would have a problem with it because his new team is not preparing to play USC right now. You just should never say something like that about your next opponent. Wait till after the game to run your mouth.:cuss:
