Ole Miss continues to have it's problems along with Tenn, et. al. Incoming Freshman LB Wallace Bates has been dismissed from the team after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphennalia. Bates dismissal brings to 10 the number of team members arrested in the last 24 months, including two ass't coaches. (Source--7/4/05 Huntsville Times).

With Tenn, it reflects how loose Fullmer is with his standards, and how crazy parents are for allowing their kids to go there. With CEO, at least for now, it reflects the clean up job he is having to do and how he's establishing groundrules for the program.

Of course CEO will have to stay out of trouble too for this to work...something that has been very hard for him to do throughout his life.

I don't see this as Orgeron cleaning house. I think his & Fulmer's programs will continue to have these types of problems.

I view Spurrier's problems at USC as him cleaning house. That program had several arrests before he even got there & he's had to deal with the problems of prior coaches.
