  2. Exactly. Save money now while the hammers swings down. No recruits are coming anyway until after sanctions, then find your new coach.

  3. Probably the best move for both parties. Ole Miss can ride out the sanctions and Luke can find out what kind of head coach he can be. If he wins under those circumstances he can make it somewhere else if OM wants someone different down the road. If he can’t then maybe position or coordinator is his calling. Win-Win!

  9. From today's Dandy Don email call (http://www.dandydon.com/Dandy_Don_Mail_Call_112717.php):

From ChuckE: Scott- (1) What are the chances that Patterson would transfer to LSU if Ole Miss is hit hard with sanctions. (2) In that situation can't he play right away?

My Response: Great question, Chuck. If the Rebels are hit with sanctions, as it appears they will be, I have reason to believe that Shea Patterson would strongly consider transferring. And based on the chatter I've been hearing, I definitely think there is at least some mutual interest there between him and LSU. This could get very, very interesting. And yes, in that situation he would be able to play right away. Just remember, the offensive coaching staff has changed completely since he was being recruited, except for O-line coach Jeff Grimes.

  10. Naw, we good. Isn't he one of the prospective Jons? Once he's had a taste of the $2 skeezers, he's likely damaged goods.
