Just be glad you're not on this list: Preseason ranked teams with losses after week 2: tOSU Michigan Miami Oklahoma Auburn Iowa Arizona State Pitt (2) Texas A&M Boise State (2) Or... wake up in the morning to read: "Iowa never got inside Iowa State's 26 yard line". Wow, a top ten wannabe team that never gets in the red zone... and you think your team has work to do... Plus, winning in the desert is not all that easy... one would be delusional to think LSU was going to steamroll ASU out there. Take the win and move on... to # 3... the chances of you seeing another team this season that throws the ball around like ASU is slim... the odds that your defense will play that bad again is also slim (hopefully). Have you seen even ONE team this year that looks unbeatable? I haven't. My guess is the teams that make it to Pasadena will survive a few games like last night.
1 and 0 with everything that has gone on....I'll take it. :thumb: Hawker is right, we should just be happy to have the win and move on.
I agree with your last statement the most. I told someone that last night, "Damn, USC must be watching all these teams and be thinking they have nothing to worry about in getting to and winning the Rose Bowl." As for the Hawkeyes, you gotta like the fact that your loss was a non-conference loss and Michigan looks terrible. A Big Ten title still puts you in a pretty cool bowl, maybe a return to the Orange or something...
Absolutely. :thumb: Why, surely the big strong men from Southern California are invincible? They have fabulous tans and the coolest shades! No one could defeat the mighty Trojans.
Hawker coming with some good rationality. Excellent points. I think it'll fall on deaf ears with a lot of people here (wrongly.)
Florida's throwing game is going to give us trouble if we don't change some things on defense, so there's one team that will throw the ball around like that on us. Plus, USC in the Rose Bowl will be throwing against us a lot too...
