1. come on

Its gotta be Josh Booty. Right am I right here.

Just kidding.............I would have to say Good ole Tommy, even though matt brought us to the promiseland. Tommy deserved to.
  2. B Jones.
  3. Jones, Bertram H. is the best QB ever at LSU. You guy think J. Russell throws hard. Wide Receivers in NFL were worried about B. Jones put a hole thru them.
  4. what about Y.A. Tittle???????? (for SabanFan :D )

Hodson gets my vote, with Ro a very close 2nd
  5. His stats would have been unbelievable if he had played in a more modern era of the passing game.
  6. I'm sure SabanFan knows who Warren Rabb was. Hint: he handed the ball off to Billy Cannon.

  7. Just IMAGINE what LSU would have done if Jones wouldn't have had to play in a 2 QB system. Funny how history repeats itself!

    How bout them apples
  8. without a doubt

Herb Tyler- He was a good QB with lots of heart, maybe an underdog also?
He was short but he sure knew how to overcome being that way!

He had an incredible record as a starter I believe until after the Florida game
    when the collapse begun.
Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong but I think I remember right!
I also feel sorry for those guys, winning their first years at LSU and going out
    like they did.

There's still a place in my heart for Herb after all these years!
( no wise cracks needed please, U know I don't mean like that!) :dis:

Tommy Hodson was really close to 1st but had to go with Herb :thumb:

You guys brought back a memory.....
Remember when we beat Kentucky 63-28?
We had 400 yards rushing in this game and 200 passing, UNREAL.
I will never forget watching that game!
  9. Now he works around town for Josten's selling high school class rings. He came to my HS to sell to my class.
  10. herb tyler throwing to the purse snatcher. i thought he was a real winner and was the one i found the most enjoyable to see play the position.
