1. The 20 hour practice week rule is not in play this week for LSU since we are on Fall Break.

We are taking advantage with more team meetings, film sessions, younger guys practice time, etc...

  2. Not to mention being able to focus 100% on football instead of papers, tests and classes.

    This is good, very good!
  3. Nice.

Any games this year where our opponent enjoys that advantage over us?
  4. It can only help. More reps and more practice normally results in better play.

We'll have a national audience Saturday. It would be great to win and look good doing so.

  5. Well, since College Football is strictly in the Spring, other teams won't have the advantage of our players getting piss-ass drunk during Mardi Gras...so, I would say no.
  6. The rule stipulates players spend no more than 20 hours per week on mandatory football activities.

There are so many ways to get around that rule, and most schools do if they really need to.
  7. Yep, just ask Rich Rodriguez. ;)
  8. Rich didn't do anything wrong. Go ahead, ask him.
  9. He has a 98 hour rule from what I remember.
