I think that I will be a huge LSU fan next Thursday. Not because I like LSU, but because it will be the first college game of the year that I get to see. LOL. If I were to root for a team in that game, it might as well be LSU (I shouldn't because of West implications) because I just cant see myself EVER, EVER EVER EVER EVER...rooting for the bulldogs.

I am truly excited for this season to kick off!

    Post your realistic predictions!

    LSU 37
    MSU 10

LSU starts slowly. MSU scores a TD early off of a TO. 14-7 at the half. In the 2nd half, the adjustments are made, jitters are gone, and home fans are taken out of the game completely with a big play early. Sloppy 1st game early but Miles has his squad ready for the 2nd half route.

    FOOTBALL SEASON HAS BEGUN!!! :thumb:

    LSU 28, MSU 7

LSU d will be tough. The offense will look ragged at times, especially the o-line. First half, LSU leads 14-7. Matt and Early look like they spent a lot of time together during the summer (surprise). Second half, the offense begins to gel. The defense second teams get some playing time, and the line looks just as good as the starters. Backup LB try hard, but show they need to improve. Perrilloux comes in and looks good, as does Chad Jones at safety. Running back by committee is a success. It is apparent we have a long way to go to replace Bowe and Davis. Jarrett Lee plays the last 2 series, mostly handing off the ball, hits the tight end for a first down to keep the drive alive and let us run out the clock.

We do nothing to put our ranking in question, but it is apparent that we still put our pants on one leg at a time, and we have to develop to contend for the SEC west crown.

LSU opens a 6 pt. favorite over VT in Baton Rouge.

I'm pretty sure it will be closer to 19 on the 29th, but I wouldn't worry; I think things will go pretty smooth for the Tigers.

34-6:lsup: . MSU doesn't smell the endzone...gets a FG in each half. I also don't think there will be a slow start to the offense...and we lead 24-3 at halftime. The starters are pulled after we score on our first second half posession, and each team kicks a FG in the 4th.:thumb:

BAMA is probably not going to beat LSU or State this year. But root for whomever you desire on August 30, obviously LSU.

    Go Dawgs!

Yo RE, good to see you back, but you've got no reason to celebrate. Get your room booked in Shreveport before the gypsies get them all locked up!

It's doubtful that we will end up in Shreveport...Give us a little more credit than that! :thumb:

Nah, I'm not thinking of an undefeated season or anything but we will do better than last year man...How can we not?

Hope you plan on making the trip to Ttown, NL... :) Hope to see you guys and tailgate a little--before AND after :thumb:
