LSU was... 5-2 #19 in the AP #18 in the Coaches Poll Our most recent victory was a late come from behind win against Troy, and two weeks earlier we had gotten dominated by Georgia 45-16. What a difference a year makes!
That's what I keep saying. People are complaining about close games against tough opponents. Hey, at least it ain't close games with the likes of Troy and Ole-freaking-Miss.
Funny you should say that. Before I hit submit, I took this out of my post: ..... and one man was too stubborn to make a decision at quarterback and stick with it....
Last year was not a success, but it wasn't a meltdown. We just didn't have it. Under Saban, we seemed to alternate each year between fielding a good team and a fair team. This year is looking like a mix between fair and good, with a lean toward fair.
teams and coaches are allowed somewhat of a pass once they win their first NC in 100 years. hangover effect in full force and the players didn't know we had to act like we'd been there before heading into the next season. because they hadnt. nor the fans. well besides sabanfan.
