I'm sure someone brought this up, but how is it that there are only two night games at home? It couldn't have always been like this!

There are only two that are at night for sure. The rest are to be announced. Some of those will be at night as well...Hopefully

This is my take on how the games will fall

Miss St has JP writing all over it.

UF will be the afternoon Game on CBS

UK might not get picked up so that will be nighttime.

Fresno could be a ESPN 2 game.

Tenn is the best SEC matchup that week so it will be CBS Game of the week.

Now Bama could very well be a Gameday Crew game, the only other great matchup is Georgia and Auburn, so this game will depend on how the season for each team.

Ole Miss more than likly will not get picked up so that will be a night game.

So besides the games already set I see us having 3 more night games maybe 4.

    LSU vs UF.

Whether CBS picks up that game is probably going to be determined by the outcome of the UT-UF game. If UT beats UF, that UGA-UT game is going to be hard for the PTB at CBS to pass on.

If you look at UF, there is a good chance they could not only drop the UT game, but the Bama game the week before they host LSU.

On the other hand...we could see UT fall to both UF and Memphis...although, I don't see them losing to Mphs. Cal? There's another story.

It's next to impossible to tell what games will end up on CBS right now except for the ones already set in stone, that's one of the things I like most about the SEC contract. I used to hate back in the day when they gave almost equal exposure to all of the teams, leaving us many times with games of hardly any interest at all. The better LSU has become, the more likely of us having more day games at home, and unless CBS looks at ABC's new night game schedule and decides to compete with it, we'll have to accept it. And it is good for the program.

It is impossible because we dont know what the wins and loses are gonna be. All I was doing was comparing the different games across the board.

JP will no longer cover SEC football.
