Dewayne Scales and Jackie Dorsey (UGa stud that flamed out) need to speak the players about reality, advisors, and pro basketball. Just maybe Davis will heed this and see if 3 years at LSU just might make him a top 5 pick. Bass just may have to learn some French or Spanish in order to play pro ball (basketball is an area Forde knows of what he writes).

I can understand you feeling it was a bad decision by him but for goodness sake do you have to sound elated about it?

    :dis: :dis:

Brandon is a great young man and has a very unique family situation that is his first priority in life. I wish him all the best! :bball: :bball:

You're reading something into it that isn't there. This is beyond LSU and the Brown Suit. Brandon Bass was given a load of bad info by someone who's seeing the Brinks truck pulling into the driveway.

Your pal Brady will have his chance this season it looks like a good test of a strong squad.

I am not HAPPY he isnt going to be Rd 1...

    But come on...

He had to be smart enough to see the big picture...

Pick 29 makes a heck of a lot less than Pick 4 or 5

    Is college really that bad?

cmon, tirk. cant blame it on brady. even if bass would say its because brady is a jerk its really because bass is stupid. you shouldnt make a decision like that because you dont get along well with your coach. but who knows, he might go first round anyway.

Bass' stock would not have increased with another year. He was named SEC player of the year, and showed how much of a stud he was all year long, and he is still projected at close to the same pick # as he was when he tried to come out after his freshman year. What could he have done this next year that would increase his stock? Would he win SEC POY again? Win 1 game in the tourny? They only thing that would help his stock by staying would be if he grew 4 inches. He made a good decision for himself and his family.

develop a more consistent midrange jumper.

no one knows if it was a good decision unless he's not chosen in the first round.

then you can rightfully assume it was a bad decision.

oh and gumb, that was a bit of sarcasm mixed with some truth.
