Orange Bowl Got Low Ratings

The OK-USC game got the 2nd lowest rating ever for the BCS championship game. The worst was the 2002 Rose Bowl when Miami beat Nebraska 37-14.

 

Wonder what the 1st quarter ratings were compared to the rest of the game.

 

Nonsense.

This was the game EVERYONE wanted to see for the past two years.

 

I would like to know what it was after the half time show. :grin:

 

I quit watching at 21-7. Late first qtr., or early second?

 

wait a minute...i remember them saying that last years sugar bowl was the lowest-rated BCS title game ever shortly after it happened...party due to it being on a sunday night.

perhaps this was a media ploy to downplay its importance, since that fat b*tch shelley smith from ESPN proclaimed the nat'l title game as already having occured in pasadena...

 

Last year was the second lowest rated game, but now it is the 3rd lowest rated game, since the inception of the BCS. So last year it was meant as a slight to LSU/OU but now our game outdrew the game of the century :thumb:

 

That's because this wasn't the National Championship, the Auburn/VT game was. Congrats Auburn, 2004 National Champions!!

 

The halftime show killed off anyone else who had tried watching the game.

 

Maybe that's why I was still watching in the 3rd, I had muted the TV during halftime.
