I sort of was trying to convince myself, the Beavs were a pretty good underratted team, tack on the fact LSU played flat our terrible and the win was not as bad.

Now seeing the Book makers (Which lets face it are more accurate then not) install them as over a TD dog to Boise State... Makes me go, Hmm LSU escaped with a victory over a pretty bad team....

However LSU has already moved 2 points from 39 to 41 as favs over the Indians, telling me they expect LSU to make a dramatic improvement and run the score up to get their offense going, which is a good thing.

I will take the Beavs and the points against Boise St. I think Anderson made some pretty good plays. And unlike last year he really didn't make a bad play. Took sacks but avoided the int. which was totally different than last year.

He didnt really avoid the INT, he played chicken with it. He hit countless defenders in the hands, we just couldnt make the catch. He did make some good plays, as well. Either way, I would take OSU. Boise aint bad, though.

Boise scores alot. They have a high powered offense. I don't think that OSU will be able to defend one-dimensionally. Against LSU, they basically stacked the line to force the throw. I think Boise St. has a little more balance (at the very least, their passing game will demand more respect).

The Boise St/OSU game will not likely be played in a mudpit, so the scores will be higher.

I think that Boise St. can win this game by more than a touchdown.

Boise State was one of three teams that finished with one loss last year . . . and Oregon State plays them all this year.

I may get this name wrong but... Dinwitty, the Bise St qb form last year graduated did he not? I know Boise St tends to have a system and simply plugs players into it for their passing attack but.. Without that qb they are not the same team. We know that feeling all too well right about now....

I'm not sure if he's gone or not. I think it's more the system than the players, though.

boise actually has one of the top homefield advantages in the last 5 years....

their opposition is always top notch but they roll up lots of points on the smurf turf.

Boise State is a very good team. they lost to Oregon State at OSU last year 26-24. On the Blue Turf of Boise, they can (and probably will) run wild on OSU. The line seems pretty correct, it will probably end the week at 5.5 - 6.5 because all of the opening action will be on OSU, so the line will lower to get more action on Boise.
