Joe Cullen-also known as "The Mic" if you ever went to an LSU practice the year he was D-Line coach in '99-is going to be named the Defensive Coordinator at Indiana under Gerry DiNardo... Cullen was actually a guy with potential if you ask me. He didn't have much to work with, but he was ALWAYS intense. In other news, two assistants have left the Ole Miss staff...the Special teams coordinator and the Wide Receivers Coach... Just thought you guys might enjoy knowing about a former "colorful" character from LSU's recent history, as well as a lack of continuity at Ole Miss....
In addition, you may have heard, Curly Hallman is now the head coach of a High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. (Peter Principle at work)
After Doug Barfield (Pat Dye's predecessor) left Auburn he became a very successful high school coach in Alabama for many years and was quite happy.
