There is another ingredient. Mark Richt made a comment indicating that LSU had the, "athletic talent," to make their strategy pay off. Besides that, beating Georgia also has much to do with scoring enough points against the Georgia defense.
Well according to Marv Albert....errr......Trev Albert they are still the best team in the SEC. Georgia and Tenn is going to be another classic SEC game. As far as a blueprint on how to beat Georgia, all you can do is hope and pray. They are one hell of a team as they showed here in BR. This is the SEC where any team can lose to any team....(please exclude Vandy from above remarks!!)
But there's an upside for da DAWGS Now that a particular defensive plan has been successful they will be much more prepared if anyone tries the same approach again. Dawgs now know where they must improve, so Richt being the good coach I think he is, they'll be ready.
They will also have a healthy Fred Gibson, which is another ace in the hole... Also, offensive lines tend to "get their manhood challenged" in a game like that. Those guys will do one of two things after being continually punked to the tune of 24 hits on Greene, 4 sacks, 11 tips at the line, and briefly letting him get knocked out of the game... They'll either sack up, come together and benefit as a group... or... They'll implode and make Jell-O look like concrete... My guess is that this unit went through it's "growing pains" on Saturday, and will take it personally from here on out to protect their quarterback at all costs... If we see them in Atlanta, they will be a MUCH better team. Though, if we see them in Atlanta, we will be a MUCH better team....
Re: Re: Other SEC teams think they can beat Georgia now that we've given them the "blueprint&qu No kidding. Our season average of 45 points a game didnt just magically poof into only 17- 17 hard fought points, at that.
Note to all Georgia opponents. You'd better bring your running shoes. Those dudes on defense are fast. Karlos Dansby is as good as they get at LB but he is nothing compared to the total "D" at Georgia. Don't mean to make this an anti Auburn post but based upon what I saw for their 1st 3 games and what I saw last week, those RBs won't gain 50 yards.
Well, according to Arkansas fans on another site, Texas would take Georgia to the woodshed by at LEAST 2 TD's. LOL
