Not sure what day I read the quote from the Oklahoma player (before the game) that said USC should feel lucky because they get a split of the championship while taking the easiest path to get their half. If someone has that quote, please post. It was either in the Advocate or the TP, probably Sat but maybe Sun.
true Such a true comment...I mean, sure USC could have beaten LSU or OU, but they were lucky to sit at home in the LA area, play a day game outdoors in gorgeous weather like they usually do, play a #4 team (albeit Michigan's a really good team), and not have to play OU and LSU....I am not sure why USC fans were so upset that they didn't play in New Orleans..all they had to do was beat a #4 team..at home..to win a title and they did just that
