Coming back from the loser's bracket in the first round to win the CWS can be done, and i dont know about you guys, but i firmly believe that this team can do this. We beat ourselves yesterday with a little help from the umps. Nobody get your heads down, because this team is not finished just yet. I know we want another crack at UNC, and lets get some payback for 2003 against Rice tomorrow. :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
I agree, it ain't over till it's over. We now got the jitters out and it will be time to play Tiger ball. I really like our chances against Rice. Anything is still possible. More than anything though I am just proud that we are there. :tigbas: :geaux: :LSU231:
I guess we can all kiss away any prodictivity tomorrow @ work, since the game is at 1PM...... :geauxtige:geauxtige :geauxtige:geauxtige
The funny thing is that the losers bracket is what many thought the winners bracket would look like after the first round was complete. This baseball team feeds off these types of situations. They have their backs against the wall and will do whatever it takes to win the game. If I was the Rice team, I would be very worried. Geaux Tigers.
This 2008 LSU Baseball Team will always be one of my favorites, no matter what happens. They have shown they can come back from a setback like the loss to NC and I believe they will eliminate Rice on Tuesday. I don’t think any of us realy expected them to do this well when the season began. I know I thought they would be much better than 5th in the division (like the coaches voted in preseason), but getting back to the SEC Tourney and getting into a Regional was about the limit of my expectations. I never thought the freshmen would be playing at this level this soon. Those freshmen playing at this level, with the upper classmen leadership and the coaching have really made this a wonderful season. What a damn strong team. ldskule:
