Out of the confirmed candidates, who do you want?

OK, it is making me sick to my stomach to think Houston Nutt may be the next coach at LSU. Since we are all such big fans of polls, lets get a TigerForums poll of who we want out of the confirmed candidates for the opening (i.e. those we have requested permission to speak with or already spoken with).

Del Rio & Petrino are my top 2. I'm really starting to like the idea of Petrino being here and he got my vote.

 

I like Jack Del Rio because he's a defensive coach and if you look at LSU's football history the Tigers success has come with a defensive oriented coach. But he's always been an "NFL guy" and don't know what type of recruiter he would be.

Petrino concerns me because of his involvement in the coup attempt of his old boss Tubby at Auburn.

 

Agreed.

There is a small part of me I must admit though, that would like to see them turn it over to Jimbo... Just one of those gut feelings that he would do better than expected.

 

Let's see how long that "0" sits next to Houston Nutt's name on this poll.

The only people that would vote for Nutt would be some infedel agitators. No way any true LSU fan would want him or Tubby for that matter. I still say Nutt can coach and has gotten more from less than any other SEC team in recent memory. I still dont want him though, he is not a good fit.

 

I voted for Other. Why isn't Butch Davis' name in this poll?
