I think Pete is starting to show his immaturity if this is true. He liked to be friends with his NFL players which is why he failed twice as a NFL head coach. He should be leading his USC players and not making teenage challenges in regards to a future game which would mean nothing for current teams before any of the bowls have been played and also telling his players to make sure to tell everyone that they are number 1.
Yep - If this is true Pete Carrol is an idiot. Do that after you win the Michigan game if you are so damned confident. This is the difference b/t a good coach and a great one. i vaugly remeber reading something about us approaching them about playing next year but they wanted to play only if it were an exhibition game or something anyone have any light to shed on this or remeber the story??
