Realistically, we can only expect BP to remain at LSU for one year. He will take a $208,000.00 pay cut next year when his Nebraska contract expires, and he was up for HC jobs this year. If LSU does as well as we hope, BP will be a hot commodity next year. Campo will have his tenure in the NFL complete, and maybe he will replace BP, who will go to a big time program as HC. :geauxtige LSU!
as i said in an earlier thread, i have a good feeling about dunbar! that's my story and i'm sticking to it.
Why do people post so many negative comments on this board. Pellini has not even been announced as the DC yet and people are already talking about him leaving. Same thing with Miles. For weeks, all of the talk about Miles was about when he leaves for Michigan. This coaching staff has not coached one game together, much less a practice and people are already speculating on when they are leaving. Lets just all relax and let the coaches coach. Who knows when they are leaving or how long they will stay. Think about this, most people were saying the same thing about Jimbo two years ago. Where is he now? LSU is much bigger than any coach, so lets not all get worked up on what coach might be leaving. LSU will be fine. LSU! :crystal: LSU!
I totally agree. We are surviving Saban leaving aren't we??? Let's concentrate on doing what we can to help Coach Miles and his staff bring another SEC Championship and MNC to Tiger Town!!!
I don't have a problem with this thread. I think that Pelini leaving after a year or two is a legit topic and one worth discussion. Bo has not been at any job for more that two years, why would we think that he would stay at LSU any longer. He was an assitant DC at OU and not going anywhere. He wants to be a HC and will have more recognition at LSU than at OU. I agree Contained Chaos that Dunbar would be a great DC. That is why I think his hire may be the most important other than Jimbo. If Pelini bolts then I forsee a promotion of Dunbar to DC, and I will be fine with that move.
If he is gone in two, and then we deduce his replacement also lasts 2 years, with the average age of starting defensive coordinators, there's a good chance his replacement's replacement is not even coaching yet.:hihi: /got nothing
It's funny you should mention that. I have a very close friend who is a Mad Scientist, and she is working on human cloning. If all goes well, by 2018, we will have Saban's Clone as HC of LSU, and, by the way, the DC position will also be filled by Saban's Other Clone. We will be fine.
well, this is a forum, a place of open discussion on whatever topic one chooses. as far as i know, as long as it's within reasonable decency, there aren't any restrictions on subject matter. if it is that bothersome, there is always the option to not read or participate.
