1. Well, we could go with one of two things:

    1) Michigan calls Skip to get permission to talk to Miles. Skip announces to the world the week before the SEC game that Michigan has made the request, but it will have to wait until after the Vol game. Herbie gets a call from an insider who says it's gonna be Miles to Michigan. Herbie goes with it.
Herbie's friend inside is slightly misinformed. Herbie gets embarrassed.

    2) Make it more than it is, accuse Herbie of calling everyone liars, form a lynch mob, and hang the b'stard by his scarlet and gray underwear 'til he bleeds purple.
  2. Personally, I haven't complained about Herbie making a fool of himself and could care less, he does it often. However I do have a problem with several writers calling Miles a liar just to cover their butts. Herbie going with unsubstantiated rumor no problem, calling a respectable upstanding person a liar because of your mistake big problem.
  3. I hope it is true that Miles verbally accepted and then told em to shove it when the trolls started talking on da tube. Makes it that much sweeter and really should be about the last call from big blue for quite some time! I am glad he is a keeper.

    :miles:
  4. First off let me start by saying I hope you guy's kick the crap out of Ohio State. To me, if you don't play a conference championship game then you are not relevant.

What is your reaction going to be if Bo does coach the game and the defense gives up big numbers? As a Husker fan I don't have a problem with him coaching the game. I hope it benefits everybody. My only concern is the back lash from what a loss may cause.
  5. Heck, this team has dealt with so much this season I feel it is battle ready. A well rested LSU should be lights out on defense. I hope Bo coaches. It sounds like everyone associated with LSU is wanting that. I do think it will also benefit Nebraska. I'm sure Nebraska fans would enjoy watching their new coach in the NC game which should help with Nebraska recruiting.
  6. Because of his committments w/ Nebraska, I think he should cut his ties w/ LSU. He's been great for us and our players love him. It's not about that.

I just think that this game is a very rare, and precious opportunity. We need someone who can focus on the task at hand for the next month. As CLM would say, "Can't be in two places at one time."

    :crystal: :crystal: :crystal:
  7. As long as the biggest number is not on the scoreboard I'll be satisfied.

It's been and up and down year for our D. We have obviously given up big numbers in the two triple OT losses. We've played very well at times and not so well at times. We've also been plagued by injuries, stupid penatlties, blown assignments, mental mistakes, bad bounces and who knows what else.

If the D is healthy I think we will be fine.
  8. If :milesmic: is okay with it I am. Besides, I believe if CBP feels that he can't put his all into the preparation for the NC game he won't coach in it.
  9. Ummm, I'll take #2.
  10. Thank's for the input. Bo has had his ups and downs but I think he is a all around good guy. You guys want to see how high his expectations are around here? If this takes up your whole screen I appologize. This is a shirt that is already going into production!
