Pelini did not interview with anyone. He is on MSU's list, but no interview has happened.

The advocate was saying that he had. Could it have been one of those "informal get togethers" but not an "interview," or did he stay at LSU and plan all week?

Once Saban is booted from Miami, maybe he can come back and be our defensive coordinator. :D

Word is Lou Tepper is at the top of the short list. He has developed a new "shut down" defense, its a 1 - 10. One down lineman and 10 drop linebackers. Man thats going to be awesome. All we'll have to do is score a filed goal a game and never have to worry. Life is going to be sooo good.

The difference between what the Advocate is saying and what Pelini is saying is interesting to say the least. But, whether he did or didn't, I doubt if it was a distraction for Pelini that contributed to LSU's mediocre defensive effort against Alabama. I am not sure what the reason was, but Alabama certainly should not have been able to move the ball against us as they did. Hopefully LSU will have its head together for Ole Miss.

Starters missing the game and injuries during the game resulted in Bo being a little more conservative in my opinion. If he did interview w/Mich St it was early enough in the week that it shouldn't have been a distraction. Also give Bama some credit. They probably played their best offensive game of the year against a quality defense.
